Terms of Service & EULA

These Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement (“Terms” or “EULA”) explain the rules for buying and using horz, a macOS app created by Individual entrepreneur ALEKSEI SEMIGRADSKII (“we”, “us”, or “horz”). By buying, downloading, installing, or using horz, or by visiting horz.app, you agree to these Terms.

1. About horz and Our Reseller (PayPro Global)

horz is a scrolling window manager for macOS that arranges open windows in a horizontal strip and lets you scroll across them with a three-finger trackpad swipe. When you buy horz, you purchase it from PayPro Global (PayPro Global, Inc. and its subsidiaries), our authorized online reseller and Merchant of Record, and we grant you a license to use the app under this EULA.

PayPro Global processes your payment, calculates and collects applicable taxes, issues your invoice, delivers your download link and license key, and handles billing and refund inquiries. We (Individual entrepreneur ALEKSEI SEMIGRADSKII) provide the software, operate the device activation server, and handle all product and technical support at support@horz.app.

2. System Requirements and Digital Delivery

To run horz, you need a Mac with Apple Silicon running macOS 26 (Tahoe) or macOS 27 (Golden Gate), a built-in MacBook trackpad or Apple Magic Trackpad, an internet connection for license activation, and macOS Accessibility permission (which allows horz to read three-finger trackpad gestures and move windows on your screen).

horz is delivered electronically. Right after you complete your purchase, PayPro Global shows your macOS app download link and license key on the order confirmation page, sends both to your email address, and makes your order details available in your PayPro Global Customer Account.

3. License Grant and Single-Device Activation (EULA)

Each license key lets you install and use horz on one Mac at a time for your personal or internal business use. If you select the option at checkout to buy a license for another person, the license is issued for that recipient’s use on one Mac under these Terms.

PayPro Global issues and delivers your license key at checkout, while single-device activation is handled directly by the horz app and our licensing server. When you enter your license key in horz, the app connects to our licensing server and binds the key to that Mac’s hardware ID so it can only be active on one Mac at a time. You can deactivate your current Mac inside the app at any time to unbind its hardware ID and activate the same key on another Mac you own or control.

Your license is non-exclusive and non-transferable (except when moving it between your own Macs or purchasing it as a gift for a specific recipient at checkout). You may not share, publish, resell, rent, or redistribute the app or your license key, and you may not reverse engineer, modify, or bypass the app’s licensing checks.

4. One-Time Payment and Updates

horz is sold as a one-time payment with no recurring subscription fees. Your license is perpetual for the major version of horz you purchase and supports macOS 26 (Tahoe) and macOS 27 (Golden Gate).

Because Apple regularly changes macOS internals and window management APIs, we cannot guarantee that horz will work on future major releases of macOS beyond macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Support for future macOS versions or new major versions of horz may require a paid upgrade.

We own all code, design, logos, and content in horz and on horz.app. Buying a license gives you the right to use the software under these Terms—it does not transfer ownership of the software or our intellectual property to you.

7. Payments, Taxes, Digital Withdrawal Waiver, and Refunds

All payments are processed by PayPro Global. Prices are listed in US dollars, and any applicable local taxes (such as VAT, GST, or sales tax) are calculated and added at checkout. By completing a purchase, you also agree to PayPro Global’s Terms and Conditions, PayPro Global’s Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

EU/UK Digital Delivery Acknowledgement: If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital software and license key after purchase, and you acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day cooling-off right of withdrawal once download or activation of the software begins. Any refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy.

If your order is refunded or charged back, PayPro Global notifies our licensing server and your license key is deactivated immediately. You must then uninstall horz from your Mac and delete all copies of the software.

8. Support, Warranties, and Liability Limits

If you run into any bugs or technical issues with horz, email us at support@horz.app. For billing, invoice, or payment questions, you can also contact PayPro Global Customer Support.

Except as expressly stated in our Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights under the laws of your country, horz is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability (and PayPro Global’s liability) for any claim related to horz is limited to the amount you paid for your license, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under your local law.

9. Ending Your License

You can stop using horz and uninstall it at any time. We may deactivate or cancel your license key if you violate these Terms, if your payment is refunded or reversed, or if we detect fraud or unauthorized key sharing.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated, and changes apply to new purchases and continued use after that date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms between you and Individual entrepreneur ALEKSEI SEMIGRADSKII are governed by the laws of Georgia, while your checkout transaction with PayPro Global is governed by PayPro Global’s Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these Terms takes away any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in the country where you live.
